Randy Clarno founded the Vision First Companies in 1998. Vision First started as a result of his passion for shaping premier land into beautifully designed, livable communities and commercial landmarks. Randy has brought to Vision First his vast experience in business, engineering and land development, and has implemented these strengths to cause unprecedented growth within his companies.
Strategic planning, market risk analysis and contract negotiation are among the many assets that bring Randy and the Vision First Companies to the forefront of the Land Development industry. The cohesiveness of the team that Randy has built is derived from his exceptional gift to develop, train and care for people.
Prior to Vision First, Randy served as Senior Vice President and Principal Operating Officer for a large development company in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This tenure provided him the capacity to thoroughly develop his passion, knowledge, and expertise in the field of real estate development.
Outside of the office Randy can be found with his wife and children, serving others, on the golf course, or traveling abroad, all of which renew his commitment to help shape communities for the future.
Jeff Solscheid brings twenty-one years of experience in the Fortune 500 world of finance and business to the helm of the Vision First companies. His experience and skill as a master financier has given Vision First the critical edge it needs to be successful in it's diversity of endeavors.
Jeff has comprehensive experience analyzing and streamlining accounting systems that have proven his ability to develop and execute creative solutions that insure deliverance of financial goals. His leadership in budgeting and strategic planning provide both long and short term solutions to the many challenges of business today.
Prior to Vision First, Jeff excelled as Senior Business Planner for one of America's foremost companies. He was awarded the Business Planner of the Year for the Northwest Business Unit for his ability to skillfully manage all finance and accounting related operations for four separate locations in two different states with combined gross revenues exceeding $175 million.
Fatherhood, golf, and long-distance running are evidence that Jeff intends to live his life to the fullest. Because he is known to those around him as a compassionate, unrelenting friend, Jeff is a unique and incomparable part of our team.
Ken Elliott comes to Vision First with 23 years of real estate, land use and municipal law practice. Ken's experience in both a private firm and Fortune 100 corporation has prepared him for both his legal role and his land management role at our companies.
Vision First was seeking the ideal person to oversee the complexities of our companies. From negotiating and drafting acquisition, project development and operating agreements, to securing governmental land use entitlements, to supervising the efforts of our project managers, it became obvious that Ken's experience, along with his personality, were a perfect fit.
Some of the tasks that Ken has accomplished prior to joining Vision First and Vision Land Management include the supervision of commercial land development teams and projects, legal analysis and negotiation of complex real estate transactions, advising local government planning commissions, and extensive experience securing governmental entitlements.
Ken enjoys traveling, singing and acting, is an active member of his church, and a father of three.
Rick Hubbell is the newest addition to the Vision First executive team. Throughout his career, Rick has found ways to develop people and build business. As both a former independent consultant and Senior Executive with Cornerstone Development Group, he developed a reputation as a catalyst who brings about substantially better performance in individuals, developments and even entire organizations.
Rick has built, led, trained and managed new development sales teams at multiple developments simultaneously, helping to produce 100’s of millions of dollars in annual sales. He has also worked with virtually every aspect of the real estate development process both in the field and out.
On one particular project Rick was a key figure directing a marketing and sales team that sold out a 92.5 Million resort in 90 minutes. During this period of his career, Rick had the opportunity to work closely with one of the world's leading Project Development & Marketing specialists and ULI keynote speaker, Pete Halter. Rick attributes much of his success to things he learned during this time.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina, a loving husband, father of three and an ordained minister, Hubbell enjoys chess, racquetball and music.
