Vision First Companies started as a result of our founder having a desire for families to be able to live their dreams in a community of innovative lifestyle housing.
Randy Clarno was offered a summer job at the age of sixteen as a temporary assistant in an engineer's office. He developed great interest as he watched others work. With his father's encouragement, he chose to attend college to obtain his education in Civil Engineering, and Land Use Planning. He also earned his license as a professional land surveyor.
His career led him to leadership and management positions with The City of Tigard, Oregon, a medium sized engineering company focused on land use planning and consulting, and then on to a Senior Vice President position with a large development company where he managed multi-million dollar budgets and cultivated his expertise in the land development industry.
Recognizing that few were experienced in the many arenas involved in taking a raw piece of land through the detailed processes of entitlements, design, and construction, Randy founded Vision First LLC, with the goal of building a regional leader in the development of planned communities.
Now, the development team brings years of experience and proven results to the forefront of "readying" land for builders and investors, while adhering to our core values of quality and innovation. The process of producing commercial lots and residential neighborhoods requires the hand of experience. Vision First and its affiliates are fully equipped to do just that.
The success of Vision First, in meeting the lifestyle needs of families, destined the company to become a dominant force in the industry. To expand on the commitment to ambitiously acquire and design livable communities, Randy Clarno launched Vision Land Management. And soon after that, he united Vision Real Estate, a company with real estate sales expertise, to the family of companies.
